UK-Based Ghanaian music producer Jae5 has also spotted the young talent Black Sherif and has hinted a surprise recording with the artiste.
Jonathan Mensah known in the music industry as Jae5 won his maiden Grammy Award as a producer on Burna Boy’s(Bank on it) on his Grammy Award winning Twice as Tall album.
He is the executive producer of J Hus and has earned a strong reputation as one of the best producers in the United Kingdom.
Jae5 has been on a search of young talents in Ghana, Nigeria and beyond. He will be in Ghana next month to select his next big act.

Jae5 realized the astronomical trap music talent of Black Sherrif on his latest ‘First Sermon’ which has been number one(1) hit song in Ghana for almost two weeks. In a reply to a video of Black Sherif’s “First Sermon”, Jae5 quoted the Tweet saying “This is fxcking hard.“
Taking to his twitter page, Jae5 singled out Blackko as ‘the one’. Jae5 is known for his blend of genres to create a very distinctive sound.
The high life melodies fused into the drill as he puts it is absolutely new and no artiste has ventured into it. The fusion of high life into other genres by Blackko, a skill he called the future.
According to Apple Music’s Top 100 Ghana, ‘First Sermon’ has been the number one song in Ghana during the close of May. Black Sermon has seen support from big artistes and managers in Ghana with the likes of Sarkodie, His manager Angeltown, Edem and Criss Waddle.
The song has received support from Sarkodie, Criss Waddle, and Edem projecting him as the next big Artist to go mainstream in Ghana.
