Thorsten Owusu Gyimah, popularly known as Yaw Tog, is a Ghanaian rapper who majors in drill music known in Ghana as Asakaa. He is best known for his viral song ‘Sore’ which featured Kwesi Arthur and Stormzy on the remix.

In an interview on TV3’s New Day show, Yaw Tog acknowledged the fact that his collaboration with the British talent contributed massively to his success in the industry has said he made the American rapper popular in Ghana.

Touching on the success of Stormzy, Yaw Tog revealed that he already know the song was going to be a hit because of the effort he put into the making of the song.

He also said that the collaboration did not only help him shoot to fame but hyped the British rapper in Ghana. He said that if not for his song, Stormzy wouldn’t have been known in Ghana.

Meanwhile, Yaw Tog recently won the Best Hip-hop song of the year with his “Sore” song featuring O’Kenneth, Jay Bhad, Reggie, and City Boy.
