Popular Ghanaian media personality, Abena Korkor has reacted to the new wind blowing around the activities of people who are into LGBTQ in Ghana.

Abena Korkor threw her support behind Sister Derby, Pappy Kojo, Walov and others to fight against the maligning of the LGBT community.

On her verified Instagram account, the mental health advocate initially shared a petition calling for the parliament to reject the anti-LGBT bill which was introduced by Sam George and some other MPs.

The purpose of the bill is to criminalize LGBT and deal with anyone who will be caught in the act or support the act.

In her second post, Abena Korkor shared a music video by Angel Maxin which features Sister Derby and Wanlov the Kubolor to throw her full support against the criminalization of LGBT activities in Ghana and suggested that she could be one of such people.

She captioned that one:

“I know a lot of people personally who are born this way. You never know I might be one. There are amazing people who deserve every right to live in peace so they can contribute productively to society. #lgbtqlivesmatter,”
